another great year comes to an end

It absolutely amazes me that another school year has been completed. It amazes me even more that I will be a junior next year.  I feel like yesterday was the first day of fall semester, a semester I really did not enjoy thanks to a horrid class. I remember back in September wishing for winter break, wishing for spring break but mostly wishing for summer.

So many things happened this year. Some were bad. Some were good. I learned a lot about myself this semester and I don’t regret a min. of it!

As I anxiously await the posting of my grades I have decided to write a post similar to one I posted on my old blog (an example of which can be found here).

First off thank you BSU for having “Take a Break Make a Difference”. I went on the alternative winter break trip to Arizona. I was terrified to go, especially since I really didn’t know anyone going. I am so happy I put aside my fears and went on this trip.

I not only made friendships with people I might not have met I also got to know someone who I was avoiding because of a stupid reason. I am so thankful that I got a chance to get to know this person. Not only does she give great advice but she is very insightful. She is one of the only people I know who would take time out of their busy life and look up requirements and such for my major just to help me. So thank you Kayla, I’m glad we've become friends. I hope you have an amazing time this summer in Arizona!

Also because of the Arizona trip I’ve become friends with someone I trust more than most people. This person not only helped me survive my worst moments during Arizona but continued to do so this past March when I called her in tears around 3 in the morning. So thank you Jillian for being an amazing friend.  

To my fellow CSA members, thank you for another great year. I know it wasn’t always easy and at times during fall semester I came off as bitchy but in the end we accomplished some great things. I can’t wait for you all to see what is in store for you next semester. Michelle and I have been working hard on events for fall semester!

To my Norwell friends, yet again you’ve had to deal with me at my best and at my worst. You’ve dealt with the tears and the laughter. I can never thank you guys enough for everything that you do for me.

To Jenny and Olivia, thank god you two are in my life. You guys are the best friends a person can ask for. Even though we don’t always get to see each other I know you’re only a phone call away. Jenny, I hope you have an amazing time during semester at sea, I will be living vicariously through your posts!

To everyone I didn’t specifically name, thank you for everything you’ve done. I can’t begin to name every single person who helped me this year. You all know who you are and that’s all that matters in the end J
